Freelancers lose work by forgetting to follow up, not by losing pitches. Followup is a phone app design that keeps one list of leads and clients, when each was last contacted, what the next step is and who is overdue today.
The four screens
Today: overdue, due today and next 7 days, each row with the action, a Done and a Snooze button.
Contacts: search, stage filter chips, sorted by last touch oldest first so neglected people float to the top.
Contact detail: next follow-up card, log-a-touch form (sent, received, call, meeting) and a timeline.
Stats: pipeline value, active clients, follow-ups done this week, average days between touches, and a stacked bar of contacts per stage.
How it was designed
One prompt in MagicPath, written as a spec: the design system (background #F6F5F2, accent #1F6F5F, overdue #B8541F, Inter, 8px radius, no shadows, no illustrations), a 4-size type scale, and the exact content of each screen.
MagicPath built all four artboards in parallel on one shared system, so the tab bar, pills and cards match across screens without manual cleanup.
The same spec is written to be buildable as an app, so the design can go straight to code. The names and numbers on the screens are placeholder content for the design.
