TECHNOCENTRICS is a micro consultancy primarily composed of veteran design engineers specializing in automation that creates transformation for manufacturing and warehousing operations.
2 — The Challenge
The founders wanted a brand that felt premium and projected the dynamic, leading edge, and precise nature of their work.
I proposed a brand framework that balanced a highly aspirational tone to speaks to forwarding thinking leadership teams, that would still feel grounded enough for experienced veteran SME directors and project managers in their 40s-60s. Naturally we wanted to build confidence immediately and demonstrate a deeply sense of cross-disciplinary expertise through the mechanical and digital world.
3 — The Process
Research & Direction: I started by exploring the balance between strategic change, innovation-led design and mechanical expertise. We sought out and custom-built imagery that would be key to expressing the brand's core pillars.
The initial concepts found inspiration among technological cues, with a touch of futurist graphics and pulling all imagery to a unified color language.
Logo Exploration: The primary logotype features sharp, mechanical details for an engineered and modern look. The two interlocking circular forms represent change, collaboration and partnership
Color & Typography: The palette draws from deep blues and purples that touch on digital themes and create calm that plays on a more active pink/red accent color. We wanted a fresh, yet corporate aesthetic. Paired with a modern, clean serif typeface the identity feels both powerful and calm.
4 — The Outcome
The final brand framework conveys deep expertise and fresh optimism. Each element, from the imagery to graphic elements, are designed to work across uniforms, truck fascias, and website. The owners loved the result and approved the full design suite with just no design revisions.
