Toko Kopi BJR - Coffee Roasters
Essential Brand Identity + Packaging Design
Keywords: Grounded, Kinship and Movement
This project explores how a local coffee brand can feel grounded, cultural, and approachable without relying on typical specialty coffee aesthetics.
Toko Kopi BJR is a coffee shop and coffee supplier based in Banjaran, South Bandung — an area historically shaped by movement, distribution, and everyday interactions. That idea became the foundation of the branding direction, translating the spirit of movement and connection into a visual identity that feels familiar, warm, and honest.
The system was built through bold circular forms inspired by wheels and transit routes, combined with warm earthy tones, clean layouts, and simple illustrations drawn from everyday coffee culture. Rather than appearing overly polished or exclusive, the visual approach was intentionally designed to feel human, approachable, and easy to connect with.
The final result positions BJR between traditional and modern coffee culture — a brand that feels rooted in its environment while remaining relevant and accessible to a wider audience.
If you are looking to create a unique brand identity or an engaging illustration that aligns with your business story, let's discuss further.
