I was hired to create two documentary-style trailers for a new language immersion program focused on preserving the CHamoru language and cultural heritage for both locals and the diaspora.

The goal was to capture the emotional and cultural significance of the language immersion experience, showcase the program's impact, and support the connection between participants and their linguistic roots through narrative and highlight trailers.

This project showcases a deeply human, documentary-driven approach to video storytelling that is respectful of cultural significance while delivering cinematic impact. Through tight shooting constraints and solo production, the work underscores my ability to balance narrative intention with technical execution. Though I'm capable of seeing parts of it now on a technical aspect that I'd execute much better today, I think given the circumstances and schedule it still turned out well and meet the clients expectations.
