Codelandcs enables course creators to host courses, track participants activities, and automate payment without the use of third-party tools

I started this project by gaining a deep understanding of business model, target audience and clients project goals. I worked on the idea by leveraging secondry market information, making paper sketches and wireframes for UI, which went through series of iteration before the high-fidelity designs.

I conducted market research by analyzing companies offering similar solutions. This research enabled me to understand how i can deliver a superior solution for our ideal users.

I employed both user interviews and surveys to gain extensive insight from users. I conducted user interviews with a diverse persona of potential users, which gave me insight into their experiences, challenges, and expectations.

As a broad app involving 2 parties (a student and instructor), the need to structure contents to reduce cognitive load for our users was a priority, hence an information architecture helped me achieve that.

I started with a sketch, which passed through several iterations before doing a mid fidelity wireframe, as this saves time and helps me build out the first blueprint of a product faster

CodelandCS helps course creators build and manage courses with ease. In just 1 month, we onboarded 10+ creators, launched 5 active courses, and generated $1,500+ in organic revenue.
