A challenge I love taking on is helping clients tell stories about their businesses in a way that is authentic and compelling to their audiences.

Brand Storytelling has many approaches but my favourite is using a juxtaposition of great writing, in-depth research, beautiful imagery, and infographics to communicate a specific message.

This project involved turning data from industry research into technical reports but retaining an appeal that an average audience can appreciate.

The Outcomes

My task in this project was to create three reports - a betting industry report (PPT style pdf), a covid-19 report based on a survey, and an e-commerce industry report.

Technical Writing Goals:

I had three specific goals

Research and compile data from reliable and verified sources

Write a long-form document with technical details included

Integrate infographics, images, and the text to create final reports

My Approach

With a short turnaround of about 3 days for each report, this is what I did:

Finding authoritative sources for the topic

Deep dive into the data that was handed over

Preparing first draft by visualising the flow of the final document

Writing the text bits

Adding in images and infographics
