Client Objectives:
Create a short, authentic skit in a TikTok-native style that demonstrates the ease of using the Ramdam app
Feature one actor playing two distinct roles:
Freelancer – young, struggling to figure out how to earn online
Pro / Expert – casual, confident, giving minimal-effort advice
Subtle outfit or accessory changes (e.g., glasses on/off, hat/no hat) to differentiate the two roles
Ensured the avatar looked like a real human (18–25 years old) with authentic expressions
Include a loop: dialogue repeats seamlessly
Client Pain Points / Issues with Previous Freelancers:
Videos were too polished or studio-like, breaking the authentic, native TikTok feel
Energy and pacing felt unnatural or scripted, not spontaneous
Skits lacked comedic timing and didn’t engage the viewer
Avatars appeared overly produced, sometimes AI-like, reducing relatability
Dead time or slow cuts made the videos feel less dynamic
Didn’t follow the brief closely, causing multiple rounds of revisions

How I Addressed These:
Maintained natural, spontaneous lighting and framing to achieve a real-person look
Played both roles with subtle outfit/accessory changes, ensuring clarity and humour
Kept the skit tight (15 seconds) with quick cuts and minimal dead time
Focused on authentic, TikTok-native energy and expressions
Followed the brief meticulously, including all must-haves
