Tekniq, a YouTube channel focused on unique trucks, steam vehicles, and trains, needed a short feature showcasing a handmade steam motorcycle and the engineering behind its build.
What I built:
Worked as Creative Producer and Director on the project, developing the narrative structure and visual approach for a cinematic documentary-style feature. Shaped the storytelling direction, guided the production planning, and defined how the craftsmanship and engineering would be translated into film language.
Outcome:
The video has reached over 500,000 views since release, resonating with audiences interested in engineering, craftsmanship, and niche mechanical culture.
The creative focus was to present the motorcycle not just as an object, but as a story of engineering intention and handmade precision. The approach combined documentary observation with cinematic framing, allowing the build process itself to become the narrative engine.
As Creative Producer and Director, I was responsible for defining how the story should be told visually — balancing technical clarity with emotional pacing, and ensuring the final structure reflected both the mechanical complexity and the human craft behind the build.
The final execution translates industrial craftsmanship into a cinematic format designed for a YouTube-native audience interested in engineering, transport culture, and rare mechanical builds.
