Developed an authentication system and IoT network for Wattius Battery Solutions to enhance the security and functionality of their desktop app and Battery Management Systems (BMS). The solution enabled secure client access and real-time monitoring of BMS devices, facilitating integration with external systems and data analysis.
Main Jobs and Tasks
Authentication System Development
Built a secure authentication system using ExpressJS to control access to BMS configurations via the desktop app (developed with Visual Studio .NET stack).
Created a CMS to manage users, devices, device models and other domain business entities.
Integrate CMS with business existing ERP (Odoo platform).
2. IoT Network Creation
Designed and implemented an IoT network for BMS devices to monitor and report behaviours to the cloud.
Enabled real-time data collection and analysis for better decision-making.
3. System Integration and Scalability
Ensured seamless integration with other systems for enhanced functionality.
Focused on scalability to support future device and user expansion.
4. CI/CD and Scalability
Dockerized system with docker and docker-compose as orchestrator, allowing fast and agnostic deployment.
CI pipelines with unit tests using GitHub Actions.
