Webshop for adult toys

Requirements:
The customer is an adult toy web shop with a focus on LGBTQ+ friendly products. The layout and design of the shop was previously done by a graphic designer and needed to be implemented with pixel perfect precision. The customer wanted a good presentation of the products with filtering options, integration of reviews, newsletter integration and other typical e-commerce functions.
Solution:
A WooCommerce webshop with a custom theme developed on the basis of Storefront. The only way of achieving pixel perfect implementation of what the graphic designer imagined was to start with a blank canvas (or in this case a starter theme). The rest of the work was to setup the product information in an appealing way and configure a whole array of specific plugins for filtering, Mailchimp, payment gateways and shipping label printing.
