The Axie Classic World Championship featured a $500,000 prize pool and open qualifiers from July 28th - August 7th. Thousands of competitors were broken into 2 regions, East and West. They competed until only the top 16 remained. Each of these finalists received a paid trip to Barcelona, Spain to compete in the finals. This on-site tournament culminated in an epic main stage finale between Seb from METAT8 and Axie.gg's Thunderstruck.
