Task

The client came to us with an idea and a few initial sketches. The concept existed, but it was still very raw — no clear logic, no defined user flows. Our task was to shape this rough vision into a fully functional MVP: define the product’s structure, design the UX and visual direction, test the core hypothesis, and get the platform ready for its first launch.
Solution
We approached this as product designers from the beginning.
We started with regular calls with the client to understand the idea better, followed by interviews with potential users. This helped us identify the core pain points: difficulties importing and managing data, lack of flexibility in reporting, and no easy way to share results internally.
We ran usability tests, card sorting sessions, mapped out user journeys, and analyzed the actual tasks users would perform in the product. Special focus went into designing a clear structure — with tabs, groups, and customizable dashboards. Finally, we performed a heuristic evaluation and validated the flow with real use cases.
Result
We delivered a complete MVP design, ready to be launched. It’s tested, aligned with real user needs, and includes all core functionalities the client envisioned. Most importantly, it solves the original problem: helping businesses structure and make sense of their spending data.
