Rezort — Luxury Home Decor Ecommerce Website Redesign

Rezort curates a premium collection of luxury home décor and interior pieces sourced from around the world. The products were exceptional — the website wasn't. The old site had no real catalog, no structure, and barely any content to guide a shopper. For a brand selling high-end décor, a thin, empty online store quietly undercuts the whole value proposition.
The problem wasn't taste. It was that nothing on the site told the brand's story or made browsing the collection feel like the curated experience it should be.

The goal

I redesigned the full e-commerce experience — and because the old site was so empty, that started with building the content itself. I worked through wireframes first to lock the structure and shape the catalog, the product pages, and the shopping flow before any visual decisions. Once the foundation held, I built the high-end UI on top of it.
The hard part with luxury home décor is restraint. It's easy to make an e-commerce site that sells; it's harder to make one that feels calm and considered while still moving people toward checkout. So the goal wasn't decoration for its own sake. It was to make the store read as refined as the products — editorial typography, generous whitespace, and product-led layouts that let each piece breathe instead of crowding it into a grid of thumbnails.
Every page was adapted for mobile, where most premium décor shopping actually happens. The responsive design keeps the same sense of space and quality from desktop down to phone, so the experience never feels compressed or transactional.

Final impact

The redesigned store finally matches the collection it sells. A real catalog, clear navigation, and content that guides shoppers from first impression to product detail without friction. Browsing feels like flipping through a well-made interiors magazine rather than clicking through a generic shop which is exactly what a luxury home décor brand needs to earn trust before a purchase.
