Handsense - Brand, Shopify Store, and Broadcast Campaign

The Challenge

Handsense was a wrist-worn hand sanitizer dispenser arriving in the middle of COVID, into a market where every competitor was shouting the same thing. The product was genuinely new, which is its own kind of problem. Nobody knew what it was, how you wore it, or why they would want one. It needed a brand, a storefront, product imagery, and a way to explain itself in under thirty seconds.
I did the whole marketing side of the company.

What I Built

Brand and Packaging A full visual identity and the packaging design for a product category that did not really exist yet. Built to read as clean and medical rather than novelty, because trust was the entire purchase decision.

Product Photography I shot the product myself. On something nobody had held before, the imagery has to do the work a description cannot: show the shape, the scale, and how it actually sits on a wrist.

Shopify Storefront A complete e-commerce build. Product pages, checkout, and the supporting copy, structured so a first-time visitor understood the product before they had to decide anything.
Commercials and Ads Commercials and ad cuts for social, the website, and broadcast television. Same story, three different delivery specs, no compromise on any of them. The 3D product spin was built in After Effects, because a rotating render shows a brand new product in a way a photograph cannot.
Tutorials Elaborate how-to content. New product categories die on confusion, so the tutorials carried real weight in the launch.

Google Business and Socials Set up and ran both, so branded and local search actually found the company.

The Result

Handsense went to market with a brand that looked established rather than improvised, a store that could take orders on day one, imagery that explained the product without a word, and a film that worked on television and on a phone. For a product invented in response to a crisis, it arrived looking like it had always been there.

A wrist-worn sanitizer that took off during COVID. I did the whole marketing side: packaging, Shopify store, product imagery, tutorials, commercials.
