Writing for NGOs and startups

I worked for an association that bridges young people and their personal and professional development.

I was responsible for creating content for their newsletter and webpage by posting about 5 and 8 weekly announcements, which I discovered, wrote, and edited. They were more often than not on the topics of internship, volunteer and training opportunities including Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps events. Moreover, I was responsible for designing related graphics to motivate young people for inclusion in non-formal learning events.

During my 4 months working there, we reached over 5000 engaged young learners organically through the 52 announcements I published. I firmly believe that this success was owed to the enthusiasm I had with this being my first internship and due to my curiosity and close bond with our target group. I was very excited about researching and preparing for every announcement and I leveraged every part of the process by learning Google AdSense and SEO optimizing every post I made. In addition, I wrote my first blog posts with external editor on topics I was passionate about.
