Overview

EURIDICE’s joint European master: digital society, social innovation, global citizenship.
EURIDICE – The Collaboratorium is a new project that creates digitally integrated hybrid meet-and-work spaces to support inclusive education, social innovation, and global citizenship. It brings together 25 partners from universities, research centers, cultural institutions, and companies. The kickoff meeting hosted 30–40 participants in Amsterdam and 27 online from 10 countries, highlighting its global and hybrid nature.

What is a new learning environment?

It is a modern educational approach that focuses on flexibility, adaptability, and technology integration.
It emphasizes student-centered learning, fostering active participation, collaboration, and personalized education.

Desk research

I began with desk research to gain a deeper understanding of feedback on services that offer similar ways of collaborating with researchers, students, and organizations through online meetings or personalized education. By analyzing these competitors, I was able to identify their strengths and use those insights to guide my evaluation and design process.

After we analysed Microsoft Teams and conducted user testing with 3 heavy users, we gained some insights.

We understand group chat is the users' main issues with Microsoft Teams, Student has less interaction with other users and participants through Microsoft Teams and they switch to other platforms.
