About this project:
Kayi is a dynamic FinTech startup aiming to provide seamless access to financial services and up-to-date financial information. The core objective for this project was to develop a high-performance, visually captivating landing page that effectively converted website visitors into active customers. This initiative required a strong focus on user experience, modern aesthetics, robust security measures, and critical SEO optimization to maximize organic reach and achieve measurable business growth.
My Responsibilities:
As the lead developer for the Kayi landing page, I took ownership of the entire frontend development process, ensuring the delivery of a highly performant, visually appealing, and SEO-optimized web experience. My key contributions and responsibilities included:
High-Fidelity UI Development:
Transformed complex Figma designs into a pixel-perfect, modern, and intuitive user interface using Next.js and React.js.
Leveraged Shadcn UI and Tailwind CSS to build a consistent, beautiful, and highly customizable component library, ensuring rapid development and maintainable code.
Conversion-Optimized Design Implementation:
Strategically implemented UI elements and user flows designed to guide visitors towards conversion, directly contributing to the 35% boost in customer sign-ups.
Ensured key calls-to-action were prominent and effectively integrated throughout the user journey.
Advanced SEO Implementation:
Implemented robust SEO best practices, including semantic HTML, meta-tag optimization, structured data, and performance enhancements, to significantly improve organic search visibility and drive targeted traffic.
Integrated Google Analytics for comprehensive tracking and data-driven optimization.
Full Responsiveness & Cross-Device Compatibility:
Developed a fully responsive layout with adaptive designs for optimal viewing and interaction across all devices – desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
Performance & Code Quality:
Focused on delivering an exceptionally fast-loading website, optimizing images and code for superior performance scores.
