While at The Magdalen House, I successfully led a team in the planning, review, and adaptation of content based on analytical data and trends of our audiences. With over four different departments as well as a general email base, we tailored content to each individual audience, growing their trust. After implementing a target audience strategy in 2021, we held a consistent open rate of 46.5% or higher year over year.
Part of my role for The Magdalen House was ensuring that all content across all mediums met the brand standards and voice of the organization. After overseeing the full development of the brand standards and the guide, I reviewed and revised all email campaigns to ensure their proper use of all brand elements and phrasing. With this consistency and clarity established, we began to see a faster turnaround time from internal teams in reviewing creative briefs and completing the necessary elements for content creation and build-outs.
No matter the campaign, I always strive to keep the messaging as clear and concise as possible to keep the audience engaged. With this strategy partnered with clearly targeted audiences, we began to see a significant drop in unsubscribe rates going from over 3% in 2021 to an average of 0.24% in 2023.
