In an effort to show the systemic effect alcoholism has on not just the individual but the entire family and their community, I helped The Magdalen House develop a plan for their End of Year campaign to highlight how an entire family (and community) can thrive when one alcoholic finds recovery. The campaign kicked off with a video about Patty’s journey at their largest annual fundraising event in October 2023.
Over the span of three months, The Magdalen House then shared the story of Patty, her family, friends, and her manager through video and photo content to show the change they all experienced in every aspect of her life- and theirs- through email, social media, our website, and mailers.
The Magdalen House saw an uptick in engagement across social media, email, direct mail, and EOY donations with the campaign.
