E-Commerce Icon Animations — Case Study(lottie)

Overview For this project, I focused on giving an e-commerce interface a more approachable, interactive feel by animating a set of core UI icons. The idea was to make common actions—like adding items, tracking orders, or confirming payments—more intuitive through simple, expressive motion.

My Role I handled all the animation work, creating lightweight Lottie files that fit smoothly into a modern web experience. Every icon animation was built with clarity first, making sure users instantly understand the action they’re triggering.

Approach Instead of over-stylizing the animations, I kept the motion very tight and functional. I used small pops, soft easing, and clean path transitions to add personality without cluttering the interface. Since these icons live at a small scale, I focused on bold shapes and clear timing so the motion reads instantly.

Outcome The final icons bring subtle warmth to the e-commerce experience. They guide users, highlight actions, and add small moments of delight—all while staying efficient, responsive, and easy for developers to implement.
