Car Wash App Animation (Lottie, Json, GIF)

Project Overview I created motion graphics for a car wash business, designing animations in After Effects and exporting them as Lottie JSON for use on the client’s website / app / marketing materials.

Objective To elevate the car wash brand with engaging, clean animations that communicate services (washing, foaming, rinsing) and add a modern, friendly feel.

Making the animation visually appealing and smooth while keeping the file size low for Lottie use.

Translating real-world car wash processes into simple, easy-to-understand animated sequences.

Ensuring the animations fit into the client’s existing branding and could be reused across digital platforms.

Concept & Storyboarding: Mapped out key scenes — car arriving, washing brush, soap bubbles, rinse, final sparkle.

Design: Created vector elements (car, brushes, soap, water) in Illustrator.

Animation: Used After Effects to animate necessary elements with easing.

Export: Used Bodymovin to export Lottie JSON, optimized layers and effects for performance.

Feedback & Iteration: Shared animations with the client and updated accordingly

Outcome Delivered lightweight, polished Lottie animations that enhanced the client’s digital presence. The animations added visual interest and clarity to the car wash service, making the brand feel more dynamic and professional.
