Alora Home Finders, a family-owned real estate business based in Alora, Spain, has over 20 years of experience in property management and real estate services. They cater to both international buyers and local clients, offering transparent, professional services.

The Challenge: Alora Home Finders reached out for a website redesign after their previous site became outdated and ineffective. The owners had initially attempted to manage and update the site themselves, but this resulted in a disjointed user experience with broken links, poor performance, and an overly complicated interface. Additionally, it lacked a modern, inviting design to capture the attention of international buyers—particularly those looking for luxury homes in the Alora area.

The Goal: The main goal was to enhance the user experience, improve the site's visual appeal, and ultimately increase lead generation. Alora Home Finders needed a website that would engage visitors, especially those from the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands, and make the process of finding luxury properties seamless and enjoyable.

To enhance user experience, I conducted basic UX research (including heuristic evaluation, competitor analysis, user flows, and market research) before starting the designs on figma.

I developed the website on WordPress using Elementor and adapted my designs to fit the Houzez plugin, which the client was familiar with, using custom CSS and GSAP animations to add dynamic elements. I also provided documentation to guide them in using their new CMS and cleaned up their WordPress dashboard for easier management.

In terms of content, I assisted with copywriting to ensure clarity and relevance while improving the site's visual appeal. The final design focused on a clean, professional aesthetic, ensuring a responsive layout and intuitive user flows to make the property search seamless for international buyers.

Better Conversion Rates: By streamlining forms and improving CTAs, conversion rates saw a significant increase.
