Context

At IBI Group, I worked on a niche B2B SaaS transit management platform, tailored for U.S. and Canadian governments and private sectors. This platform was designed to integrate with over 50 APIs, including Waze, Weather Network, and Road Conditions, providing comprehensive transit management solutions.

Problem

The platform faced challenges related to managing extensive project backlogs and ensuring the seamless integration of numerous APIs, which was critical for maintaining system efficiency and client satisfaction. Given that the majority of our clients were government entities, the platform had to meet stringent compliance requirements, adding complexity to project management and system integration. Additionally, securing contracts with these entities often required navigating through rigorous Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.

My Role & Accomplishment

In my role at IBI Group, I effectively managed and reduced the project backlog by 30%, significantly enhancing system efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction. My leadership in conducting usability testing and analyzing user interaction data via Google Analytics facilitated the timely rollout of new functionalities and bug fixes across all clients. Additionally, I took a leading role in creating and refining essential documentation, which significantly improved our onboarding processes, training guides, and marketing materials. This documentation enhanced the efficiency of new user training and provided clear, accessible information that supported both sales and client service efforts. I also personally visited management sites to train users and gather their feedback, which was invaluable for continuous product improvement and user satisfaction. My proactive engagement not only helped in streamlining the client onboarding process but also ensured that our platform met the practical needs of our users, enhancing their overall experience and satisfaction.
I was also instrumental in responding to and managing numerous Request for Proposals (RFPs), a critical aspect of securing contracts within the government sector. My meticulous approach to these proposals played a pivotal role in winning significant projects valued between $50,000 and $5 million. This success was essential not only for the firm’s financial stability but also for its strategic positioning in the government sector. Moreover, I ensured strict adherence to the compliance standards required by government clients, integrating these standards seamlessly into our platform's functionalities to maintain regulatory conformity and client trust.
