YUMCH: Redefining Restaurant Discovery with Immersive Visuals and Seamless User Experience
YUMCH! is an innovative app that revolutionizes how users discover restaurants and dishes through engaging photos, videos, and detailed insights. It simplifies decision-making by offering ratings, reviews, and real-time features like table reservations and online orders. My role was instrumental in designing an intuitive and visually captivating experience, bringing the client’s vision to life.

Fragmented platforms for restaurant discovery and dish exploration.

My Role as a Designer
Responsibilities:
Conducted detailed discussions to transform a brief into a full-fledged app concept.
Developed user flows, UX, and UI to create a seamless user experience.
Delivered polished designs aligned with the client's vision and goals.
Strategy and Understanding:
Focused on user pain points by simplifying navigation and enhancing visuals.

Brainstorming and Ideation:
Collaborated with the client to define user needs, features, and app goals.
Wireframe and User Experience Design:
Created user flows and wireframes to ensure smooth and intuitive navigation.
UI Design, Prototypes, and Micro-animation:
Designed a high-fidelity UI with interactive prototypes and engaging animations.
Design Finalization and Handoff:
Delivered pixel-perfect designs and collaborated with developers for a seamless handoff.

My Experience
Working on the YUMCH! app was an enriching experience. Collaborating with the client helped me better understand the challenges of creating a user-driven platform. Despite tight deadlines and evolving requirements, I overcame hurdles by maintaining a user-first approach and ensuring open communication. The result was a product that delighted the client and its users alike.
Challenges and Overcoming Them
The biggest challenge was balancing simplicity with robust functionality. Through continuous feedback and iterations, I refined the design to ensure it met user expectations while aligning with the client’s goals.
