The BHD Bank Mobile Application was developed to provide customers with a secure, efficient, and user-friendly platform for managing their financial accounts and performing transactions on the go. The project focused on enhancing functionality, ensuring compliance with stringent security protocols, and delivering an intuitive interface to improve the overall user experience.

The project utilized a diverse tech stack:

AngularJS and Ionic frameworks powered the frontend, enabling cross-platform compatibility for seamless performance on both iOS and Android devices.

The backend was built on Java with Oracle as the database, ensuring robust data management and high performance for transactional operations.

IBM Integration Broker (now App Connect) handled backend messaging and integration, enabling smooth communication between services.

IBM RTC (Rational Team Concert) was used for version control, project management, and collaborative development, ensuring streamlined workflows and efficient delivery.

The application included features such as secure fund transfers, account management, bill payments, and real-time notifications. The integration of enterprise-grade tools ensured the app was reliable, scalable, and secure, meeting the needs of both individual and corporate users.

As an Engineer III at BHD Bank, I was instrumental in the development and enhancement of the bank’s mobile application, focusing on delivering a secure and seamless user experience. Leveraging modern frameworks and robust backend integrations, I ensured the app met customer needs and adhered to industry standards for security and performance.

My responsibilities included implementing features that optimized transaction processing, streamlining workflows, and enhancing the app’s accessibility. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, backend engineers, and business analysts, I played a key role in aligning the application with strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements, driving digital transformation across the organization.
