ABOUT THE CLIENT

Sued Fargesa is a forward-thinking company in the Dominican Republic that excels in providing innovative solutions to improve business processes and operational efficiency. Known for its expertise in implementing cutting-edge technology, Sued Fargesa focuses on developing and adopting systems that allow businesses to optimize workflows and enhance productivity. The company has a strong commitment to improving operational excellence through the use of technology, making it a key player in the modernization of industries in the region.
In its drive to enhance internal operations, Sued Fargesa sought a solution that would streamline inventory management, improve data accuracy, and support real-time decision-making. The Inventory App was developed to address these needs, ensuring that the company could manage stock levels effectively and align inventory processes with broader business goals.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Inventory App at Sued Fargesa was developed to simplify and optimize inventory management processes. The app was designed to provide an intuitive interface for users to efficiently manage and track stock levels in real-time. The primary goal was to create a seamless experience for employees to update inventory, perform stock audits, and ensure data accuracy across all locations.
The app was tightly integrated with SAP HANA via an endpoint API, ensuring that data synchronization between the app and the existing ERP system was smooth and efficient. This integration allowed Sued Fargesa to leverage the advanced capabilities of SAP HANA, ensuring that inventory data was consistently updated and accessible in real-time. The solution also aimed to enhance the accuracy of inventory tracking, reducing the chances of human error and improving overall operational efficiency.
By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, we ensured the app met the specific needs of various stakeholders and aligned with business objectives. The result was a powerful tool that provided employees with real-time access to inventory data, making it easier for them to track stock levels, perform audits, and manage inventory more effectively.
The Inventory App not only streamlined day-to-day operations but also empowered Sued Fargesa to make more informed decisions based on accurate, up-to-date data. The project ultimately contributed to enhancing operational efficiency, improving inventory accuracy, and supporting the company's broader goals of digital transformation. MY ROLE
As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Sued Fargesa, I played an integral role in developing the Inventory App, a comprehensive solution designed to streamline inventory management processes. My responsibilities encompassed both the frontend and backend development, ensuring the app was user-friendly and robust enough to handle real-time inventory tracking and management.
I designed and implemented an intuitive interface using Angular to ensure that users could efficiently track stock levels and manage their inventory with ease. On the backend, I worked on integrating the app with SAP HANA via an endpoint API, ensuring seamless data synchronization between the app and the ERP system. I also collaborated with cross-functional teams, including product managers and business stakeholders, to ensure that the app aligned with the company's operational goals and business needs.
My efforts focused on improving the accuracy of inventory data, enabling real-time updates, and optimizing performance. By developing this solution, I significantly enhanced operational efficiency and supported Sued Fargesa in making data-driven decisions for inventory management.

TECH STACK AND TOOLS USED

This project utilized a combination of modern technologies and tools to ensure the app was both user-friendly and capable of handling complex inventory management tasks:
Angular: The frontend framework used to create a dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly interface for interacting with the inventory data.
SAP HANA: The backend system used for data storage and processing, integrated with the app to ensure real-time synchronization and seamless data management.
.NET & C#: Used for backend development and system integration, enabling smooth interaction between the Inventory App and SAP HANA via the API.
Azure: The cloud infrastructure supporting the app's deployment and integration, ensuring scalability and secure access to data.
Ionic: Used for developing mobile versions of the app, enabling employees to manage inventory on the go, improving flexibility and accessibility.
SQL Server: Databases used for managing and storing inventory-related data, ensuring reliable and efficient data retrieval.
Azure DevOps: The platform used for managing the development lifecycle, from code management to continuous integration and deployment.
The Inventory App was designed to be scalable, flexible, and user-friendly, empowering Sued Fargesa to take control of its inventory management processes and drive operational efficiencies with real-time data access and accurate tracking. Through this project, the company was able to optimize its inventory workflows and support its broader goal of operational excellence.
