ABOUT THE PROJECT

The SAP HANA Migration Project at Sued Fargesa was a key initiative in the company’s effort to modernize its IT infrastructure. The project focused on migrating from SAP Business One, a legacy system, to SAP HANA, a high-performance in-memory data platform. This migration was part of Sued Fargesa’s broader digital transformation strategy, aimed at improving internal processes, boosting data analytics capabilities, and enhancing business efficiency.
As part of this project, I led the data migration, ensuring that critical business data was successfully transferred to SAP HANA while ensuring minimal disruption to the organization’s daily operations. I was also responsible for system integration, working to ensure that various internal systems interacted seamlessly with the new platform.
A significant achievement in this project was the migration of four internal processes from database integration to endpoint integration, which allowed Sued Fargesa to take full advantage of SAP HANA’s capabilities. These advancements improved data processing speeds, provided real-time insights, and enhanced the company’s overall ability to make data-driven decisions. By migrating to SAP HANA, Sued Fargesa is now able to leverage advanced analytics, improving operational efficiency and positioning the company for continued growth and success in the future. MY ROLE
