Wallie is a mobile crypto wallet focused on long‑term portfolio building rather than short‑term speculation. The app offers onboarding, risk profiling, portfolio simulations and transaction flows wrapped in a dark, cinematic UI that feels premium yet approachable.​

At the core of the experience is a live AI agent that explains concepts in plain language, suggests next steps and helps users understand the impact of their decisions before committing funds. The AI also monitors market behavior and wallet activity, flagging suspicious coins or transactions as potential scams before the user is exposed to unnecessary risk.​

Most crypto wallets are built for power users and assume a high level of financial and technical literacy, which creates anxiety and fear of “pressing the wrong button” for newcomers. The goal for Wallie was to design an app that feels as protective as a parent guiding a child: encouraging exploration while setting clear boundaries and safety nets.​​

The product also needed to surface complex AI‑driven insights—risk scores, portfolio simulations, and scam detection—without overwhelming users with raw data. Balancing depth of information with clarity, trust and emotional reassurance was the primary UX and visual design challenge.

The interface uses a dark, contrasty theme with warm accent colors to focus attention on primary actions and critical warnings, particularly around investments and transfers. Onboarding is structured as a conversational flow where the AI “coach” asks about goals, risk tolerance and interests, translating answers into a personalized investment strategy.​

Core AI features were designed as visible, proactive guardians rather than hidden background processes. Users see clear labels like portfolio allocation simulators, risk gauges and step‑by‑step projections that explain how changing risk appetite or contributions will impact future outcomes.​

A dedicated risk engine scans coins, tokens and incoming/outgoing transactions, comparing behavior patterns to known scam signals such as extreme volatility, low liquidity or suspicious contract activity. When something looks risky, Wallie interrupts the flow with a calm, educational explanation and alternative suggestions instead of just a red error state, reinforcing the “protective guide” metaphor.​​

The final design frames Wallie as a trustworthy AI‑enhanced companion that lowers the psychological barrier to entering crypto while still respecting experienced users’ need for control. The combination of guided onboarding, clear simulations and real‑time scam alerts creates a sense of safety and transparency that typical wallets lack.​​

From a product standpoint, the modular screen system—goals, preferences, simulations, trade execution and dashboard—can scale to additional AI features without fragmenting the experience. Wallie demonstrates how a crypto wallet can evolve from a passive storage tool into an active mentor that teaches better financial behavior and reduces exposure to fraud by design.​​
