Casa Árabe operates as a strategic center in Spain's relations with the Arab world. It is a meeting point where various actors and institutions, both private and public, in the fields of business, education, academia, politics, and culture, dialogue, interact, establish lines of cooperation, and undertake joint projects.

It works day by day with the aim of building bridges, strengthening bilateral and multilateral political relations, promoting and supporting economic, cultural, and educational relations, as well as training and understanding the Arab and Muslim world.

As part of a rebranding project for Casa Árabe, I conducted a thorough analysis of their website and identified a key issue with their existing logo. I determined that the current logo does not effectively convey the identity of the center and lacks any clear association with the Arabic and Islamic world. To address this issue, I developed a new logo that draws inspiration from a common element found in mosques - the arcs of the halls and the rounded doors.

The new logo features the two letters of Casa Árabe's name written in Arabic - the letter "ب" for "بيت" which means "Casa" and the letter "ع" for "عربي" which means "Árabe". This incorporation of Arabic letters within the logo helps to represent the identity of the center and establish a clear connection to the Arabic and Islamic world.

The new logo is designed to be modern, simple, and responsive, making it suitable for use across various platforms. By incorporating elements of Arabic and Islamic design, the new logo effectively communicates the mission and purpose of Casa Árabe, while also maintaining a professional and contemporary aesthetic.

In selecting a color palette for the rebranding of Casa Árabe, I sought to find a scheme that would effectively unite the Islamic and Arabic world. Given the significance of the "Quran The Holy Book of Islam" in both cultures, I took inspiration from its appearance and colors.

The Quran consistently features a distinctive color scheme, with a dark green background and yellow or gold accents. This color combination is widely recognized and associated with Islam and Arabic culture, making it a suitable choice for the rebranding of Casa Árabe.

In addition, the color most strongly associated with Islam is green because it has represented Islam for centuries. Many Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia and Iran feature the color green on their national flags. Some believe that green was the Prophet Muhammad's favorite color, and it is mentioned in a number of verses in the Quran as the color that will be worn by the inhabitants of paradise.

The incorporation of this color palette serves to further strengthen the connection between Casa Arabe and the Islamic and Arabic world. It also conveys a sense of tradition and timelessness, while also maintaining a modern and professional aesthetic. Overall, selecting these colors was a thoughtful and intentional choice that effectively communicates the values and mission of Casa Árabe.
