My team and I collaborated with the e-waste recycling company Ombligo to create a sustainable networking event for high-ranking individuals. We aimed to bridge the gap between tech speech and sustainability while raising awareness of the company's cost-effective services and values.

IMPACT

Through research, we discovered that by leveraging YouTube ads and an NFT scavenger hunt we were able to significantly increase brand awareness. By implementing these strategies, we were able to reach a wider audience and engage them uniquely and memorably, leading to a successful and well-attended event.

FINAL RESULT

The E-waste Blowout was a creatively reshaped networking event inviting the whole family. It showcased the relationship between sustainability and technology and educated guests about e-waste while building sustainable relationships with high-ranking individuals.

THE PROBLEM

Ombligo faced the challenge of creating long-term relationships with sustainability leaders, given the obstacles of translating technical jargon into language that resonates with sustainability, and reaching out to other businesses in a natural way.
