Stroomkaart UX/UI Design

Stroomkaart is a digital platform that connects projects in need of temporary electricity with existing power sources across the Netherlands. It brings available connections together on one interactive map, helping users find, request and access the right power source for their project. For this project, I designed the website and the platform interface.

Finding temporary power can be a fragmented and time-consuming process, while existing connections often remain unused simply because their availability is difficult to discover. Stroomkaart needed to make this network visible and accessible to different users, from construction and infrastructure companies to events and public organizations.

The design challenge was to build a digital experience capable of presenting complex information in a clear, intuitive and trustworthy way, while serving audiences with very different needs.

The website introduces the service and guides each audience toward the right solution, while the platform turns available power sources into an intuitive map-based experience. Clear filtering, location details and structured request flows help users move from finding a connection to requesting access with minimal friction.

Together, the website and platform interface form one consistent experience designed to make access to temporary power feel simple, fast and accessible.
