Cobrew – UI Design for a Smart Coffee Experience
A minimalist, elegant interface designed to bring a sense of ritual and calm to your daily brew.

The Idea

This project started with a simple question: How can we make the smart coffee experience feel as luxurious as the coffee itself?
With that in mind, Cobrew was born — a personal UI concept for a smart coffee machine app, designed with intention, softness, and a hint of indulgence. The goal was to create an interface that not only works, but feels good to use — like silk pajamas on a Sunday morning.

Design Goals

Deliver a chic, minimal interface aligned with premium smart home aesthetics
Focus on clarity, comfort, and simplicity
Create a modular UI kit for easy reuse and customization by other designers or developers

Visual Direction

The aesthetic choices were led by the concept of refined utility:
A restrained palette of deep browns, soft neutrals, and warm highlights
Rounded elements and layered depth to mimic the tactile feel of premium appliances
Clean typography and spacious layouts for maximum visual breathing room
Benchmarking and design references process

UX Structure

While the look was key, usability remained at the center of every decision. The user journey was kept fluid and simple, covering:
Coffee customization (intensity, size, temperature)
Scheduling brew times
Consumption tracking
Device management
The experience was designed with progressive disclosure — giving users only what they need, when they need it, for a more thoughtful interaction.
Design assets & branding

Building the UI

All components were designed using Figma Auto Layout and built with a scalable system in mind. From interactive cards to smart scheduling forms, everything is fully editable and adaptable for future use in real smart appliance applications.
