Spearhead the HR team at Bhumi

I spearheaded the HR team at an organisation named Bhumi. My responsibilities include: 1.) Conduct TGIF(Thank God its' Friday), volunteer engagement session that has riddles, puzzles, doodles and much more.

2.) Conduct one-on-one calls with the volunteers and understand their experience, get some suggestions and implement them.

3.) Hired across content, video editing and design teams.

4.) Trained a volunteer to become a part of the HR team by giving responsibilities and bring out the best from them.

5.) Conduct All Volunteers Meet(AVM) wherein the volunteers opened up about their experience, had some fun playing games and a singing session in the end. Also conducted a Re-Fresh event for all the volunteers highlighting what our team does, who are the team members are, brand guidelines and some games for fun.

6.) Have  a volunteer appreciation day once in a week wherein the best designs, content, videos, best feedback from the requesters was showcased on the WhatsApp group.

7.) Introduced birthday wishing tradition of the every volunteer in the team by collecting the data from volunteers.

8.) Introduced the concept of Suggestion box wherein the design and content   leads  come forward to give some tips on better designing and content writing.

9.) Conduct onboarding orientation of every new volunteer. Also conducted offboarding interview to understand how their experience was and take up suggestions from them.

10.) Also held some operational duties and expand our team internationally by hiring a volunteer from Africa.

I was appreciated by my coordinators for actively taking up responsibilities and come up with new initiatives to keep the team engaged.

I was given the GEM award in the recent quarter for my contributions in the HR vertical. I was also given the "Caught Ya" appreciation for 2 times was I was actively taking up responsibilities and constantly kept the team engaged.
