Megha approaches this book with a bold vision on well-being, which aims at living a life that’s stress-free and one that you can control. Throughout the chapters, she articulated concepts around mindfulness and well-being through very relatable examples, while also bringing in specific context around south-asian culture and how it’s bound to impact one’s thinking and expectations. Mindfulness and stress-free living is a journey that takes a lot of discipline and consistency, but “Well-being” is definitely a great toolkit to have on hand to serve as your companion!
Having read tons of self-help books, it is so refreshing to see one that focuses on the unique experiences of south asians and people of color. Representation matters, especially when it comes to mental health. As I experienced challenges during the pandemic, I began to look for short and helpful books to add to my self-care journey. Megha’s thoughtful and easy-to-read guide offers a revolutionary approach to healing from stress, and it would make a good addition to anyone’s journey towards balance and well-being
