Client was a surrogate placement partner organization establishing themselves within the industry as a go-between for surrogates and surrogacy agencies. They had no in-house marketing team or content development contractors, and were pursuing a period of rapid growth for both back-end development and client-facing marketing initiatives.
Client's goals were:
Launch and develop internal processes for content development
Establish social media presences across best performing channels per industry
Generate and craft content to build healthy foundations for organic reach
Build content templates + archives for marketing channels to support outreach initiatives and establish brand credibility.
This was a short-term project (3 month maximum), with the client looking to leverage rapid development for fast launches across channels, and to set up best practices for long-term growth and expansion.
My Role
Initiate and launch strategy, workflows, and content across top growth driving marketing channels, refine brand persona for messaging and value proposition for marketing collateral, and publish content with quick turnarounds to foster accelerated growth
Develop and establish project management boards, processes and campaign tracking for content development, approval workflows, and resources for marketing content
Build and establish foundations and content across marketing channels, including blogs, social media, whitepapers/ebooks, media kits, etc.
Manage, develop and schedule social media content and graphics for organic channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and developing voice and value proposition for target audiences (surrogates vs agencies)
Research SEO, keywords and competitor content to develop blog strategies and topics
Create blog templates in Framer + update and edit website features to for new weekly blogs
Approach and Output
Within the first 2 months, I directed and led content creation and management resulting in:
Project Management, Task and Approval Boards built and established in Asana, then migrated to Notion
Content Request Form developed and archived for Internal Processes from future Marketing and Content Teams
60+ Custom graphics + social media posts, tailored for organic strategy highlighting BornVia's value proposition, team development, and brand persona to target audiences
Blog topics and strategy ideated for first 2 months, with content calendar + keywords built out for one additional month
