A Visual Identity Refresh for the MNAQ (German Christmas Market)
In 2024, I had the opportunity to refine the visual identity of the Marché de Noël allemand de Québec (MNAQ) as a freelance Art Director. The previous logo was overly complex, making it less effective in various applications. My goal was to simplify and modernize the branding while preserving its festive and traditional essence.
I redesigned the primary logo, created new variations, and developed a cohesive brand universe with a refined color palette, typography, and graphic patterns. Additionally, I provided inspiration for advertising and signage, ensuring a consistent and impactful visual presence. The project also included a brand guidelines document, making the identity easier to implement across different platforms.
