Black Illustrations

Black Illustration is an illustration database and marketplace where you can download illustrations of Black people for your next digital project.

The main objective is to redesign and rebuild the old Black Illustrations' visual identity into more modern and clean visual foundations to better position it from fellow competitors that use similar structures and styles.

We started analyzing how we could improve that visual identity by selecting appropriate color palette choices, typefaces, and composition of elements by creating the redesigned brand guidelines to reestablish how the new visual cues function.

After building the visual framework of the redesign, we delved into creating the website structure by working on the low-fidelity design to clearly assess what would be the most effective UX within the sections of each page.

Once the framework had been created, we now created the high-fidelity mockups to apply all the new updates from the brand redesign.
