The Challenge M line wanted to elevate its e-commerce platform by adding an interactive and intuitive configurator to drive customer engagement and automate the sales process. The challenge was to integrate this tool smoothly into their existing Magento e-commerce stack while maintaining a focus on user experience and real-time feedback.

During a span of two months a seperate team would manage the 3D models together with PixReady. After receiving the Digital Twins/3D models it took me three months to create the three seperate configurators with back and forth sessions between ecommerce manager of M line and the Project Owner at Pixready. The Solution We built a 3D configurator from the ground up, seamlessly integrating it with M line's existing store with Applepie's help.

During my short employment at Boldly XR I was tasked given my expertise with leading and building the frontend application and housing the Expivi driven 3D canvas. A seperate team worked on the business logic, where I was directly responsible for designing, developing and delivering the configurator. Together with Applepie, M line's third party hosting and support party we securely integrated a API into the configurator for shopping cart functionality.

This project has been delivered by Boldly XR, in collaboration with Applepie, who assisted with the integration into M Line's existing e-commerce system. The conceptual and design phase took 2 months, the development phase took 3 months. My part as project owner in the project: Project Owner At Boldly XR (2023) and specialised developer regarding 3D Product Configurators and Configure, Price and Qoute systems in general.
