In August 2025 I approached Mr. Reynaldo "Rey" Segura with the intent of designing a website for his business, Segura Ranch Sales. The goal was to create a professional, modern website to showcase and sell Texas land properties, while giving potential buyers a clear and intuitive way to view listings, explore property details, and contact agents directly.
The project encompasses the following steps and deliverables.
Create a professional, scalable website to showcase properties.
Redesign his company's logo with a contemporary southwestern aesthetic.
Integrate simple lead capture and automation tools.
Embed the founder’s story as a core part of the brand identity.
Current Screen Capture (as of 09.14.25)
Conceptual Ideation
Wireframe Card Design utilizing early Chip-based system (Claude Sonnet 4)
Early concept of Homepage with Search Bar (Figma)
Mid-Fidelity Design: Leading Stakeholder Session with A/B Testing of Property Landing Pages (Figma)
After a brief set of guided discovery sessions on Figma, We chose Framer as the design and publishing platform, leveraging its CMS integration and scalability on a cost-efficient plan.
Objectives
Highlight 10+ ranch properties for sale with images, interactive maps, and detailed information.
Build a seamless backend structure using Google Sheets + Framer CMS for low-cost data management.
Integrate lead forms that notify both the broker/client instantly.
Incorporate the Founder’s legacy into the design, creating trust and emotional connection with potential buyers.
Ensure scalability for future growth without exceeding budget constraints.
Logo Redesign
Inspired by by aesthetic fences of Dallas, we set about designing a logo that reflected the elegant, refined conceptual design that our client requested.

Website Approach
1. Discovery
We conducted initial sessions with the client, focusing on:
Brand identity and values (family-run, integrity, South Texas roots).
Business needs (property showcase, logo redesign, lead generation).
Emotional needs (honoring Vicente Juan Segura, the company’s founder).
2. Information Architecture
The website structure was designed as follows:
Homepage
Dual Lead Capture CTAs (Direct-to-Call / Typeform Lead Capture)
Search Bar Section, linked to CMS elements
Property Cards, with each Property card embedded with Chips containing CMS elements that links the ecosystem together.
Legacy storytelling (Vicente Juan Segura, 1931–2015)
CTA: “Plant a Tree for Segura”
Company history and community roots
Contact Page
Form + location info
Owner/Broker details (photo, phone, et al.)
Future Expansion
Blog / Resources
Testimonials
Timeline of family business milestones
3. Backend Setup
CMS: Properties and agents stored in Google Sheets, synced to Framer CMS via plugin.
Automation:
Typeform → broker/client's confirmation email.
Lead data is also logged in Google Sheets for tracking.
Domain: Integrated via Namecheap with Framer DNS configuration.
Secured with Cloudflare
Scalability: Allows additional properties, agents, or client communication tools to be added with minimal cost.
Key Features
Interactive Property Cards
Designed to highlight each property with a hero photo, acreage, county, and price. Quick-filter buttons (Water Rights, Hunting, Private Land, Premium) enable fast navigation.
Property Detail Experience
Each property page showcases high-resolution images, interactive map embeds, and detailed descriptions to help buyers visualize the land.
Legacy Storytelling (Founder’s Page)
Rey emphasized the importance of honoring his late father, Vicente Juan Segura, founder of Segura Ranch Sales. The Founder’s Page was designed as a story-driven anchor:
Hero section with Vicente’s name and years of life.
Narrative emphasizing his service, entrepreneurship, and dedication to Zapata, TX.
Emotional CTA: “Plant a Tree for Segura.”
Ties family legacy to modern business credibility.
Lead Capture & Automations
Forms are integrated throughout the site, sending instant notifications to the broker while confirming inquiries to clients. This ensures no opportunity is missed.
Results
Improved brand trust and credibility through legacy storytelling.
Centralized property management via low-cost CMS workflow.
Automated lead handling reduced manual follow-ups.
Clean, modern site design differentiates Segura Ranch Sales from competitors.
Lessons Learned
Storytelling matters as much as design — The Founder’s Page serves as a beacon of legacy, anchoring Segura Ranch Sales in a powerful dominion established in the greater Zapata, La Salle, & Webb Counties respectively.
Low-cost tech stacks can be powerful — Google Sheets + Framer CMS + Typeform created a system for professionally creating forms for capturing leads without enterprise overhead.
Scalability is key — Designing modular property cards and CMS structures ensures future growth without redesign, enabling Segura Ranch Sales to add additional properties in the future at reduced cost.
Next Steps
Further refine UX via 3-month Audit / Campaign
Add testimonial section to strengthen social proof.
Expand property search with filters (by county, acreage, price).
Integrate lightweight CRM for lead nurturing (e.g., HubSpot free tier).
Create a photo/video content library for marketing campaigns.
