Overview

Clipstake is a pay-per-view marketplace for short-form video. Businesses launch creator campaigns and pay only for verified views, creators make clips for brands and get paid per view delivered, and agencies manage multiple brands and campaigns on behalf of businesses.
Clipstake rebranded, and I designed the new brand and product from scratch as the only designer, across web, mobile, brand, and the marketing site. Each role has its own dashboard, and onboarding takes you to yours.

Share the system, change the priority

The founders architected Clipstake so that roles never overlap: a creator is never also an agency. That made the role a permanent, account-level choice, not a setting. My job was to make that clear at the moment it mattered, so the role screen says "This cannot be changed later" directly under the question. The marketplace is the one surface all three roles share, so it opens outside the dashboard with its own way back.
Onboarding asks one question: Creator, Business, or Agency. The roles never overlap, so each answer leads to its own dashboard, built from the same components and patterns.

See what's spending and what's ending

A business running several campaigns needs two answers fast: what's spending, and what's about to end. Every row in the campaigns table shows budget paid against total as a bar, with a status pill for Active, Paused, Draft, or Completed. The countdown turns red on the final day. Opening a campaign brings its requirements, submitted content, participants, and performance into one view.

Make discovery fast

The marketplace needed less density than the management views. Cards lead with the clip, the payout rate, and a bar showing views against the cap, and detailed requirements sit one step deeper. On mobile, I kept the same priorities and trimmed everything else.

Outcome

Clipstake relaunched with a new brand and a product rebuilt from scratch, now live at clipstake.com. What used to be one shared dashboard, mixing every role’s permissions and restrictions, became three focused dashboards for creators, businesses and agencies, built from one set of shared components. Each role now sees only what it needs, and the team has a simpler product to maintain. The same system carried through to the mobile app and the marketing site, so the brand feels the same everywhere.
