Huddle01 Cloud is an affordable alternative to traditional cloud providers, built around transparent pricing so companies don't have to break the bank on infrastructure. It's live today at huddle01.com.
I worked directly with the founders and engineers to build it, then designed its rebrand as Vertical, which expands the platform into GPU instances and AI inference and is being prepared for launch.
Give the platform a clear center
I could have opened Home on a resource table, the way most cloud consoles do. For a new account that table is empty, so the first screen would have explained nothing. Four cards, each with a one-line spec, cost returning users a click to reach their instances, and I accepted that to make the first visit legible.
Make deployment predictable
Deploy opens as a sheet over the GPU table, not a separate page, so the specs you were comparing stay visible while you configure. An unavailable region is shown disabled instead of hidden, which answers "why can't I pick that one" before anyone asks. Where a rule is easy to get wrong, the sheet says so in place: SSH keys are scoped to GPU instances, and billing is per second with a ten-minute minimum.
Close the loop after launch
Usage and billing answer three simple questions: what is running, what is it consuming, and what is it costing? I used the same patterns across both so developers could move from infrastructure to spend without learning a second system.
Outcome
Huddle01 Cloud is live today. Vertical, with GPU instances, AI inference, and the same transparent pricing, is designed and in development.
