This project involved assessing and strengthening HR compliance and workforce processes within a growing multi-site healthcare environment. I reviewed employee documentation, onboarding practices, personnel-file procedures, internal approval steps, policy administration, and the division of responsibilities across HR, management, payroll, compliance, and operations.

The primary challenge was that several workforce processes had developed independently as the organization grew. This created inconsistent practices, unclear ownership, duplicated work, and a greater risk of important hiring, payroll, documentation, or compliance requirements being missed.

I approached the work as both a compliance review and a process-improvement initiative. I mapped the employee lifecycle, identified control gaps and points of confusion, clarified responsibilities, and developed standardized checklists, workflows, communication templates, and corrective-action recommendations.

Key areas of work included:

Reviewing HR policies, forms, and employee documentation

Assessing onboarding and personnel-file practices

Identifying compliance and operational risks

Establishing clearer approval and accountability points

Standardizing processes across multiple locations

Developing a prioritized corrective-action roadmap

Providing implementation guidance to leadership

The result was a more consistent and transparent HR operating structure. Leaders gained clearer visibility into responsibilities and required actions, while the organization reduced the likelihood of missed onboarding, payroll, employee-record, and compliance steps.

This work demonstrates my ability to look beyond individual HR issues, identify the underlying process weaknesses, and build practical systems that support compliance, accountability, and sustainable organizational growth.
