Visual Identity created for UL-UX Studio in 2024 for the Virginia Wine Festival, including Logo design, Branding Book, Icon Design & Social Media Design.
The Virginia Wine Festival rebrand captures the timeless romance of Virginia’s wine culture, blending sophistication with a warm, inviting feel. This identity was designed to celebrate the state’s rich winemaking heritage while attracting a refined, modern audience. Inspired by scenic vineyards and joyful gatherings, the visual direction embraces natural elegance, creating a brand that feels both upscale and approachable.
The logo features an outline of the Virginia state map with the Blue Ridge Mountains at the base, representing the festival’s strong connection to local geography. From a central wine glass, a vine grows outward, forming clusters of grapes that highlight the wine-centric theme. This single, elegant mark beautifully unites Virginia’s heritage with the elevated experience of the festival, making it both symbolic and memorable.
Supporting materials—ranging from digital platforms to print collaterals and merchandise—extend the brand with consistency and character. A rich palette of burgundy, gold, earthy greens, and soft creams, paired with Playfair Display and Open Sans, adds warmth and readability. Minimalist illustrations and high-quality imagery bring a human touch, inviting wine lovers to savor the experience, connect with local culture, and celebrate the art of winemaking in true Virginia style.
