Overview:

YoPrint is a next-generation tool that caters to the specific needs of printing businesses. As a part of a project, the challenge was to redesign the customer portal dashboard for YoPrint. The aim was to create a user-friendly, intuitive, and visually appealing interface that enhances the overall user experience.

Challenge:

The existing customer portal dashboard had several usability issues and lacked a modern design. The challenges identified were:
Cluttered Interface: The dashboard was cluttered with too much information, making it difficult for users to find what they needed quickly.
Inconsistent Navigation: The navigation structure was inconsistent, leading to confusion and frustration for users.
Unintuitive Layout: The layout of the dashboard was not intuitive, making it challenging for users to perform common tasks efficiently.

Process:

To overcome the challenges and create an improved customer portal dashboard, the following process was followed:
Research: Conducted user research to understand the pain points and requirements of the users. This included interviews, surveys, and usability testing of the existing dashboard.
Analysis: Analyzed the gathered data to identify the common pain points and areas of improvement.
Information Architecture: Developed a clear and intuitive information architecture for the dashboard, ensuring easy navigation and findability of key features.
Wireframing: Created wireframes to visualize the proposed layout and structure of the dashboard. This helped in obtaining feedback from stakeholders and making necessary adjustments.
