Project Overview

Devzery is a B2B SaaS platform focused on developer tools and QA workflows. I joined the company during its early growth stage, initially as a Technical SEO Intern, and later moved into a full-time Digital Marketer role.
My work focused on building SEO from the ground up — starting with fixing technical issues, establishing keyword and content direction, and gradually scaling organic traffic and visibility. Alongside SEO, I also supported organic growth through content distribution on social platforms.

Starting Point & Challenges

At the time I joined, the website had very limited organic presence and faced several foundational issues:
No structured keyword targeting or search intent clarity
Minimal organic traffic and impressions
Technical SEO gaps (indexing issues, crawl inefficiencies)
Weak internal linking
New domain with no topical authority
SEO was still evolving internally, which made it an ideal environment to build, test, and scale SEO fundamentals from scratch.

My Role & Ownership

This project was hands-on execution, not just planning.
During the early phase, I worked closely with an SEO Strategist to understand direction, frameworks, and best practices. After that phase, I independently handled SEO execution and scaling.
My responsibilities included:
Researching and prioritizing high-volume, low-competition keywords
Optimizing pages for on-page SEO and technical health
Identifying and fixing crawl, indexation, and structure issues using GSC and Screaming Frog
Improving internal linking and content for better discoverability
Creating and optimizing SEO driven content aligned with developer search intent
Tracking performance via GSC and GA4 and iterating based on data
Managing and publishing content on Instagram and YouTube to support brand reach.

Focused on realistic keyword opportunities instead of competitive head terms

Optimized metadata, headings, and content layout
Strengthened internal linking to improve crawl flow and topical relevance

4. Scaling Through Consistency

Published and optimized content consistently
Used performance trends (impressions, clicks, ranking movement) to guide decisions
Prioritized compounding growth over one-off optimizations

Results & Growth Impact

Over the course of my engagement, organic visibility grew steadily:
21.2M+ impressions from Google Search
139K+ organic clicks
Clear improvement in keyword rankings and indexation
Strong visibility growth across informational and discovery queries
A scalable SEO base that continues to support content growth and lead generation
These results were achieved through consistent execution and learning-driven iteration rather than aggressive or risky SEO tactics.

Closing Note

This project reflects my growth from an SEO intern to independently managing and scaling organic visibility for a SaaS product. It showcases my ability to execute SEO fundamentals effectively, adapt based on data, and contribute to long-term growth in a real-world product environment.
