In this project, I conducted a comprehensive financial and market analysis of Dollar General (NYSE: DG) to assess the impact of recent business decisions and leadership changes. My approach included a detailed SWOT analysis, competitor benchmarking, and segmentation evaluation, providing a 360-degree view of the business landscape. I utilized advanced financial modeling techniques, such as DuPont analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF) projections, and price-to-earnings (P/E) ratios, to evaluate Dollar General's profitability, operational efficiency, and market positioning. This project showcased my ability to derive actionable insights from complex data, supporting strategic decision-making and highlighting areas for potential improvement in business performance.
