Easy Signs, a leading printing and signage manufacturer, has always been known for its efficiency, top-notch customer service, and timely order fulfillment. The company wanted to take the business up a notch by revamping its product page.

As an e-commerce business, all orders are placed on their website. This makes the product page a crucial part of the ordering process. While the existing product page is functional, there are several points that need improvement which would bring huge benefits both for the customers and the company.

Primary objectives for the redesign:

Improving the overall experience of customers looking to inquire and/or purchase a product. While the existing page featured a pricing calculator, it often went unnoticed, leading to underutilization. The team recognized the importance of showcasing this tool prominently, ensuring it would be readily accessible and bring full transparency to pricing.
Adding a new feature: an online design tool to empower customers to bring their visions to life with unmatched speed and efficiency. This would automate a huge chunk of the order process.

With these goals as the north star, I also took into account best practices on what makes an effective product page when doing the redesign. I also ensured that the page is user-friendly and intuitive when viewed on mobile devices.

The redesign had thorough usability tests and some iterations within the team before launching. When it went live, the streamlined process not only delighted customers but also allowed the Easy Signs team to handle the increased demand effortlessly.
The business is now able to handle more orders than ever. The company, which started operating in Australia, has now expanded to the USA.

My role

I worked as the sole designer and also as a front-end developer for this project.
PS: I also wrote about this redesign process in detail in this Medium post.
