Responsive website design for Waldo's Friends
Waldo's Friends is a non-profit organization advocating for animal rescues. What started as an online shop to support their cause eventually evolved into a great resource when it comes to adoption and caring for animals.
The goals
I helped design the new site with a primary focus on transforming it from a simple e-commerce store to a comprehensive platform where visitors can:
Discover valuable resources related to caring for rescues
Explore inspirational stories
Actively support the advocacy
Additionally, the client wanted to enhance the website's overall vibe, aiming to create a fun and engaging user experience.

Initial layout ideas for the pet library section
The previous website was built using WordPress and had an extensive amount of content. To ensure the proper information architecture and display of relevant content in appropriate sections, I began by creating wireframes.
We had a few rounds of revisions before eventually settling on the perfect color scheme to implement on the pages. It was worth it, especially as soon as we had the custom illustrations put in. (I worked with another designer and illustrator for this project.)
