Neon Lemon - Brand Design for a rooftop bar & nightclub

Neon Lemon is the HOTTEST club in the next town over. Between the rooftop bar and indoor dance floor, you're sure to create amazing memories. Part of Neon Lemon's mission is to promote moderation, respect, and safety while partying.

The moodboard is the first step in designing and one of the more crucial steps. Below is the moodboard created for Neon Lemon.

Let the designing begin! Based off the moodboard, I knew I wanted to create a logo that was classy, yet fun. Based off the text inspiration, there needed to be a bit of fluidity in the design to represent dancing and having fun but all the while keep it classy in the rooftop bar.

Ultimately, I decided on a font that I felt was perfect with little to no customizations. It was the right amount of fun, sophistication and cleanliness I was looking for. After being able to narrow it down I wanted to add a little more to bring it all together and include the term "nightclub" in there for some context as to what Neon Lemon is.

Now that the logo is coming together wonderfully, but it wasn't quite where it needed to be. So after taking a look at some inspiration I knew I wanted to keep the classy and fluid style so I thought adding in an oval shape around the nightclub will add what was missing.

After the logo was decided I knew I wanted to create a little icon to better describe Neon Lemon and have a main one for branding. Knowing that a cocktail menu was one of the deliverables and drinks are the main part of a nightclub + bar, that is when this cute little cocktail with a lemon slice came to life. (Neon Lemon, duh, it' only makes sense to include) The only thing missing to make it amazing is a color palette.

Now that the final logo was decided, in came the color scheme. I knew based off the moodboard the colors were pretty clear. I went and selected 5 colors that went well together, and created the palette.

Finally! All the major assets for Neon Lemon were created and finalized, now came the fun part of designing the deliverables needed. I knew I wanted to create a carousel-like post for instagram, and rather than going into too much detail of the whole project, here is the finalized carousel design for Neon Lemon.

This project was definitely something new to me but I absolutely loved every bit of it! I'm very happy I decided to stick to a more classy look rather than going the obvious "neon" light looking design when you hear the name Neon Lemon. I am proud of myself on this one!
