INDIGO RIDGE ORCHARD - Brand Identify Design

In spite of Indigo Ridge being a passion project, I would take every necessary step as I would have for a client in order to develop the best possible outcome for their branding.

Indigo Ridge Orchard is a mountain view orchard located in Georgia, USA. Their specialty is in jellies, wines, and juices. A Southern Country aesthetic with a historical appeal is the vibe - try to stay away from geometrics & modernism.

DEMOGRAPHIC:

Tourists looking for a refreshing day out, as well as Southern Americans who are wine enthusiasts.

SUGGESTED COLOR PALETTE:

Knowing that wineries are typically calm, classy experiences, I knew I wanted to create an inviting logo and branding. Also incorporating that southern charm, my inspiration was filled with lush mountain landscapes, "old money" homes, and simple designs. As the logo was being developed I knew I needed to incorporate some type of greenery to help make the idea clearer as to who Indigo Ridge was. In the end I developed the following image as the official logo.

Keeping the floral icon across the branding was the most important thing to me at this point in order to keep it all cohesive and recognizable. I ultimately decided to scrap the suggested color palette and create a more inviting and warm palette. That idea was a success in the type of branding I wanted to portray using that "southern hospitality" feel.

After the initial steps were finished, I decided to move onto the deliverables of packaging and print collaterals.

As previously stated, keeping the floral iconography accross the branding really helped with cohesion in this branding. As a whole the designs are different but similar in a mature way that is Indigo Ridge.
